Sleepy Hollow

Every year the small town of Sleepy Hollow puts on a cozy but impressive display of extravagant Halloween pumpkin carvings.
These range from individual designs on single, oversized pumpkins to massive 10 foot tall carvings of spooky images put together like statues.
This year, the weather did not permit for the pumpkin show to go on display as the weather was bleak and raining non stop.
We checked with the committee who hosts the event and despite their official statement release saying the show would run rain or shine, it did end up getting cancelled about 30 minutes after we arrived in Sleepy Hollow.
We were a little disappointed but determined to still have a great time eating and drinking and walking around the town to admire the autumn colors falling from the trees.
